New Years 2009

HAPPY NEW YEARS!! We went to Rhett and Cassie's for New Year's this year. We had a great time with great friends. We started the party around 7 and ended it around 3 a.m. It was a lot of fun. Debbie watched Kendall for us and we took lil man Colby with us. He was so good. He want to sleep around 11 in Rhett's office in the pack in play. We had a HOT fire and just hung out. It was very relaxing. Yes, I am responsible for the shots (like usual) but we only went through 1 bottle and half of another. I had a bunch of pics but only posted a few. Colby's First Steps

Sorry no pics. But we are so excited Colby has started taking steps here and there. He is still trying to figure it all out. We are looking forward to him walking but we are not rushing it. Kendall started walking right around 9 months and Colby, well.... he is 13 months. I know boys don't catch on as fast but we are ready for him to start walking now. Russ has been off since the 19th and he is off until the 5th. I am loving him being around ALL the time. We are catching up on some family time before he starts traveling again. I just love this time of year, spending time with friends and family is the best feeling ever. We are truly blessed to have the family and friends that we do. Anyway, off to bed now. I will try to catch Colby in the act next time.

Sunday night we had our annual gift exchange for the kiddos. It was a blast. It is so much fun to see the kids play together. Kendall and Makenna pretty much play together and now Colby and Carra can play together. We had a very filling dinner (steak, baked potato, salad and corn on the cob). Then we let the kids open their presents from each other. We actually got all 4 kids to sit together for a second to get a picture. I can't believe we actually got a picture of ALL 4 of them. As I said it was only for a second so we had to be quick.
